Hello! Name’s Lex Expósito, and I’m an illustrator and fashion designer student from Spain  also known as ‘TipsyPancake’ through social media. 

 

I’ve been drawing since I was really young, making up new characters for my own stories. My goals in illustration are to let people know about these stories, either by book, comic or perhaps an animation. 

 

I studied illustration in the EASD Fernando Estévez (2016-2019), where I focused mostly with story-telling and concept art. I have an undefined style, with no troubling adapting to new ones and as well the usage of different techniques (digital, watercolor…).

 

Nowadays I’m working as a freelancer and visiting some cons as an Artist in the artist alley, plus maintaining my Etsy shop! 

 

I don’t believe illustration works specifically to be sold or as a product but goes more than that, this from a personal point of view, creating an illustration means not only to express but to listen and to understand something that needs to be told. Afterall, a picture says more than one thousand words.
